Dr. Goldstein is Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Company's Chief Scientific Advisor. He is also a founder of the Company and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a position he has held since 1978. Dr. Goldstein is a recognized expert in the field of immunology and protein chemistry having authored more than 428 scientific articles in professional journals, and the inventor on over 15 U.S. Patents. He is the discoverer of several important compounds, including Ta1 and Tß4. Dr. Goldstein serves on the Board of Trustees of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, and the Richard B. and Lynne V.
